I'll keep this brief.
I caught the gardening bug when we moved into our home in Carytown in 2015. I quickly ran out of space in our small backyard and began taking over the alleyway behind the house. I love the joy and the peace the garden brings.
At this point, my friends are likely tired of me incessantly talking about flowers and my moody tomatoes. Starting a blog felt like a great place to host those conversations.
Plants & Their People is a place to explore the people who work the land in Central Virginia and beyond. I want to stand on farms and in gardens, and talk to people digging in the soil. I can't wait to share their stories here.
